By default, TreeSize will sort the directories in descending order: from the folder that occupies the most space on the entire disk, to those that occupy the least (which will usually be several empty folders). Once the analysis is finished, you can take a quick look at the distribution of your disk space. Ideally, during this time, in any case, you should let the program work without altering the contents of the disk being analyzed. Depending on the size of the disk and how much space is occupied on it, this analysis can take from a few seconds to several minutes. The first thing to do is to scan any of your hard disks, from the Scan tab. As a result, you will be able to know at a glance which files or apps are taking up more space than you thought. TreeSize is a program that allows you to see in a very intuitive way how much space each of the folders on your different hard disks occupies.
